Vasken Berberian is a Greek-born Armenian who has been living in Italy for the past thirty-five years. He has worked most of his life in Advertising and he has addressed the challenging art of writing only in recent years, producing short stories, scripts and novels. His latest novel Sotto un cielo indifferente [literally, under an indifferent sky] (2013) was awarded the Premio Acqui Storia, Italy's most prestigious literary award for historical novels.
