Luisa Rodriguez

Luisa Rodriguez was born with aspirations to work in national defense and she did so for several years. She even received a Masters from the Naval War College. Although she loved her profession and loved traveling around the world, she loved her daughters even more. That led her to a new path with new aspirations: to help girls and women find their purpose and to develop a positive self-image.

She is now a prolific writer, illustrator, and a communications expert with a non-profit. Using what she learned as a former pre-K Sunday school teacher and youth leader, Luisa aims to find creative ways to teach girls and women Biblical concepts in easy to understand formats. For that reason, she created the website FruitfullyLiving.com and published her first Christian children's book, A Royal Mission, and now has two more books and over 20 notebooks/journals under her belt.

Luisa believes in the power of images to convey a story. And as a Latina, she finds it important that girls and women see themselves in her illustrations. That is why her books and journals try to portray women from diverse backgrounds. She wants every woman to see herself as part of God's story.

But as a lover of all things military, she also created BiblicalWarfare.com and developed a new line of notebooks/journals to reflect the Bible's great heroes.

Luisa now lives in beautiful St. Charles, IL with her beloved husband, a retired Marine and her two inspirations: her daughters, self-proclaimed warrior-princesses.
