Through the years, I've dabbled in a lot of arts, crafts, and sewing projects. In recent years, after retiring from my editing job, I began exploring art: drawing and painting. While painting sunflowers one December day, I got an idea to make a doll called Sunflower. This set me upon a new path to discover how to sew dolls and clothing, and then to design my own doll with her own clothing. After Sunflower, her sisters came into being: Daisy, Marigold, Primrose, and Dandelion.
