Elspeth Kirkman is an author and behavioural scientist. She was a member of the founding team of the world’s first public policy behavioural science consultancy, the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) and established BIT’s North America office in 2015. Elspeth has worked with partners all over the world to try and understand why we do the things we do and how we could design processes, policies, and systems to work better for the people they are meant to serve. She is currently Chief Programmes Officer at Nesta, the UK’s innovation agency for social good.
Elspeth has taught Executive Education at Harvard and Warwick Universities and has research affiliations with King's College London and Exeter University.
