Craig Davis

Craig Davis has been a sports journalist in South Florida for more than four decades, covering all of the major team sports as well as niche sports including fishing and boating. It was during a 10-year run as an outdoors writer that ideas for characters, setting and events of “Tail of the Lizard” took root.

Craig lives near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with his wife Fran and writes about their travels for his travel blog Craigslegztravels.com. He also reports on the Miami Dolphins and other local teams as a senior writer for Five Reasons Sports Network and is a sports copy editor for the Miami Herald.
