Sam Godfrey

Sam Godfrey is an artist, illustrator and a writer of fiction, romance, thrillers and children's books. Oh! And she's also the author of the exciting fantasy novel, The Day I Died… and the new Christmas children's book, Bludolph The Blue Nosed Reindeer!

Sam was writing from a very early age. When she couldn’t be bothered to do her homework and had to complete it on the bus, this would create the opportunity to bring out a notepad and compose stories, comedy sketches and musical lyrics on the way to school. She repeated this trend on her way to work, daydreaming about becoming a writer, whilst enduring the weekly 9 to 5!

She continues to write while living a life of irony and absurdity. A chocoholic who’s allergic to chocolate, (you’ll never beat me hives,) a qualified personal trainer, who never goes to the gym and a renowned comedienne, but currently only in her own household. Sam is also a huge dog enthusiast and loves all things creative. She plays piano, produces her own artwork, loves photography and designs novelty cakes, but only when she is forced to by her children.

Somehow, throughout the madness of life, Sam pulled off a miracle and managed to publish her first book! The romantic, fantasy fiction novel, The Day I Died... A roller coaster of a story, that will keep you riveted to the edge of your seat from start to finish. Her unique style of bringing characters to life, reeling in the audience with suspense, while at the same time adding humour and depth, is notably one of her unique traits as a writer. Sam will have you laughing out loud one minute, and teary eyed the next.

Sam lives in the West Midlands with her partner, children and amazing human-like dog Simba, whom she much prefers to them! Also an empath, an avid supporter of mental health and a believer that love is the answer.
