Usman Raza

Usman Raza was born in Multan, Pakistan. He completed is undergraduate degree in Computer System Engineering (2008-2012) from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. He received his M.S. degree in computer system engineering (2013-2015) from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) of Engineering and Technology, Topi, Pakistan. He served as a Lecturer (2015-2019) with the Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering, GIKI, Topi, Pakistan. He also worked with Huawei as a network instructor and received best Huawei's Network Instructor award globally in 2019. Usman is currently pursuing a degree in PhD Technology with the Department of Computer and Information Technology, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. His research interests are in the areas of network routing and congestion protocols, sustainability, wireless networking, digital agriculture, and Internet of Things. Usman is the author of the book Signals in the Soil: Developments in Internet of Underground Things.
