Glen F Welch

Dr. Welch (1957 - still around) is an old soldier, former civil servant, and voracious reader. He writes children's picture books and no-picture books for older readers. Born in Lamar, Colorado, he has lived the life of a gypsy and home has included Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Upstate New York, Missouri, Virginia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Germany, and Italy. He is currently working on a new book, Amelia. It tells the tale of an immigrant who was also an orphan, cinderella childhood, Harvey Girl, miner's wife, homesteader, rancher. Rustlers, regulators, gunmen, and bootleggers also make their appearance. However, the love story is the main point and this book is nonfiction, describing a life nobody could have possibly lived, and yet...
