Neil P. Chatelain

Neil P. Chatelain is a professor, historian, teacher, and author. He is an Associate Professor of History at Lone Star College-North Harris in greater Houston, Texas, and historian for Emerging Civil War. He spent nine years in the U.S. Navy, serving as a Surface Warfare Officer, and is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, the University of Houston, and the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Neil speaks about and has written books, articles, and online material related to naval activity during the U.S. Civil War.
