HENRY D SCHREIBER

Henry D. Schreiber is professor emeritus of chemistry at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI). He retired in 2014 after 38 years of teaching and research as the Beverly M. Read '41 Institute Professor in the Arts and Sciences. His research spanned the gamut from chemical bonding, to lunar magmas, to nuclear waste, to glass color, and to uniquely colored hydrangea flowers - resulting in the publication of over 130 articles in professional journals. He received a B.S. in Chemistry from Lebanon Valley College and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin. Honors during his career included the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia Outstanding Faculty Award.

"The Treasure Keepers" is his debut novel. In future novels, the author continues to merge Christian fiction with not only historical happenings but also scientific themes. His next novel, "Stolen Blessings," is scheduled for a late 2020 or early 2021 release.
