John Penquet

John was born in Liverpool in the 1970s and moved to Wales in the 1990s where he still lives today.

For many years, John worked in the retail food industry all over the UK and eventually globally. He started managing stores and moving to head offices where he managed projects and managed entire food categories. This led to roles in procurement and eventually to directing data led consultancy services to some of the world’s biggest global brands. John was successful in these roles due to his ruthless demand for data, facts and evidence in all aspects of decision making and planning.

This approach to business was carried over to his property investment businesses where John has helped himself and others build property portfolios that outperform the market using data, facts and evidence to beat the trends. A founder of several property businesses, John has also created Ultimate Landlord to help educate and support investors and is an active public speaker providing knowledge and insight to thousands of property investors through his market reads and research. John is also the author of the disruptive book, Property Truth or Dare.
