Naba Basar

A teacher by profession and a freelance writer. Born and raised in Karachi, it was tough to step out of my comfort zone as a single parent and explore Pakistan as a solo traveler. Started off with traveling in small groups and backpacking across Pakistan solo and in small groups. I chose to travel on public transport, living in local homes and enjoying the simple food the mountains offer. My passion for nature and adventure began in 2013 and has inspired me to explore the unprecedented mountain ranges since then. I wish to share my experiences, Pakistani hospitality, culture, cuisine, lives, stories, and simplicity of the people with the rest of the world. Eventually I wish to settle in the mountains forever and establish a learning center for little children and share stories of mountain people.
