I've practiced criminal defense and police misconduct law for over 40 years in Durham, NC. My articles about the law have appeared in The New York Times and Washington Post. My articles about my Catholic faith have appeared in Commonweal and other publications. I coached youth hockey for 15 years with Triangle Youth Hockey of North Carolina (TYHNC). I play in my local adult league as well as write about hockey.
