Don Hagedorn, a long-term resident of Columbia, South Carolina, has enjoyed the process of developing his first fiction book, recently released on Amazon. It's title? Ellie Says It's Safe! A Guide Dog's Journey Through Life. He and his wife, Susan, have volunteered for many years with guide dog training schools and with service dog organizations in general.
Growing up in New Jersey, Don dreamed of traveling west. At the age of 19, he did so, remaining for twenty years. Time was spent in the resorts of Colorado, the beaches of San Diego, and the cities of Salt Lake City, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles. The last 20+ years have been in South Carolina with Susan.
A variety of endeavors preceded a return to college at Loyola Marymount University to finally complete his undergraduate degree in Economics in his late 30s. He then turned his efforts to supporting various companies throughout the country and around the world. At this point he's been fortunate to have traveled to 47 states and 19 foreign countries. He's taking those experiences to develop his second work of fiction with an expected completion date of mid-2021.
