I believe in Jesus and His love for me and have done

so all the way through, from my early childhood to

adulthood; my sweetest moments are in tender

companionship with Jesus.

This book is a true story of my memories of living in

a cult in Mississippi and Ware, Massachusetts. A group of

Christians almost destroyed my faith and made me question

my beliefs. Some evil people disguised themselves as

children of God and called themselves prophets. The highest

minister of all, Brother Sam Fife and his ministry, the

Fivefold Ministry, called on all God's children to sell what

they had and follow him into the wilderness. According to

his doctrine, the wilderness way of life would see them

through to the end of the earth and its people. The objective

was to sustain life by living off the land completely without

relying upon the world's resources. According to Sam Fife,

we were the chosen few; everyone beyond our circle in the

world was essentially hopeless. If I were to give my readers

a word of advice, it would be this: be careful how you live

your Christian life and tread lightly before committing to a

Church affiliation. Because of what I went through, my love

of Jesus and my faith is now vital. I want to expose those

vi

who did something wrong – very wrong. There are former

cult members like me in the world who are fearful to disclose

their stories and instead suffer alone. I want to open the

windows of their souls and tell them they did nothing that

could cause them shame.
