David Randall Hill lives in Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. A Christian husband and father, Randall is a long-time Sunday School teacher and is now retired from the Federal Government, having worked for over thirty-four years in the Department of Defense, the last twenty of which as an attorney in the Intelligence Community.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1954, he began a walk with Jesus as a little boy at Victory Memorial Baptist Church, where he was first given the chance to lead a Bible study while he was in college.
While at the University of Louisville, Randall began to create bits and pieces of stories about a distant world across the stars and a great hero named Andarien Halcyon. As the years passed, more stories came to mind---of a hero named Tacan the Mighty and a young man named Robert, who set off to become a knight. But in the mid-1990’s, the story of Thomas O’Ryan and a rabbit named Jack prompted Randall to actually try to finish a book. The result, Jack’s Tale, also revealed how all the bits and pieces of the stories would come together to produce the Tales of Merindelon. The first six volumes of the series are currently available on Amazon, while the last six of the series are already in draft.
