Jim is someone who embraces life and the world with enthusiasm. Unfortunately, life and the world don’t always seem to see things the same way. Something his long-suffering wife can attest to, with his well-meant plans never quite working out as intended.

After astounding her with a surprise trip to New York to celebrate a special birthday, he wrote feverishly about their experiences on a Tripadvisor forum, as a guide for others. The glowing feedback astonished him so much, he thought he should make a habit of it.

At least you know who to blame now.
