Julia Groves

Julia Groves is the third of seven children born to Roger and Donna Goff. She was born in Colorado, but raised predominantly in Utah. Julia was homeschooled from 6th grade through high school after which she attended George Wythe College. Though she did not formally graduate with a degree, she did maintain a 3.98 GPA during her studies at George Wythe and values what she learned while attending there.

Julia married her best friend Rory Groves in March of 2009 and together they have three young children. In addition to homeschooling their children, Julia and her husband also run their own business. (Rory is an illustrator and Julia runs a family lifestyle site where she enjoys creating resources for today's mom.)

In 2015, Julia and Rory sold their home and most of their possessions to travel full time with their children. They spent 6 months living abroad in Europe and then returned back to the US. Though their travels have now slowed down and they are once again looking to settle down in a home that love of travel is still there.

As a born storyteller, Julia has always been fascinated with history, art, different cultures and meeting new people. Additionally, Julia enjoys photography, cooking, experiencing new things, teaching, reading, crafting, travel and graphic design.
