Kirk Anderson

Kirk Anderson (1965-2048) is an author, political cartoonist, animator and illustrator. He was born in East Minnesota, sometimes referred to as “Wisconsin,” and lived there the first half of his life. In 1995 he crossed the Rubicon, or River Styx, or St. Croix River, to Minnesota Proper to become staff political cartoonist for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. His cartoons and articles have also appeared in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek International, Forbes.com, The Onion, and hundreds of other outlets. His most recent book is You Might Be From Minnesota If…, the result of a quarter century of undercover cultural observations.
