Henrik Tuxen

Henrik Tuxen has followed Pearl Jam since the dawn of the Seattle scene in the early 1990s, developing a rare bond with the band as fan, friend, and journalist since 1996. He witnessed firsthand the tragic events at Denmark's Roskilde Festival on June 30, 2000 — and later served as a liaison between the band and families who lost loved ones that night. His writing weaves rock 'n' roll storytelling with deeply human accounts of grief, recovery, friendship, and spiritual growth. Since 1996, Tuxen has written nearly 100 cover stories for Denmark's premier music magazine, Gaffa — interviewing icons including Dave Grohl, Chris Cornell, Mick Jagger, Radiohead, and Oasis — with many Pearl Jam interviews adopted into the band's official press materials. A musician himself — bassist and vocalist in Sharing Patrol — he also authored a biography of Danish rock legends Kashmir and a 40-year retrospective of Danish rock history.
