Remi Oshikanlu is the host pastor of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Citadel of Greatness, Hempstead, New York. COG, as the church is fondly called, is a bible believing Pentecostal church where the undiluted word of God is taught. Remi's calling is to help individuals discover and unleash their God-given potential. He studied Law at Ogun State University, Nigeria (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) and graduated in 1991. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992 and was later admitted to the New York State Bar in 1999. In 2002, he obtained a Masters of Laws (LLM) graduate degree from Hofstra University, New York. Remi was called into full-time ministry on December 16, 2012, exactly 20 years after he was admitted to the Nigerian Bar. Outside his pastoral duties, he is passionate about education and empowerment for the less privileged particularly in Nigeria. This work is done primarily through the Empowered For Greatness Foundation (EFGF) a 501© (3) registered U.S Foundation that provides scholarships for indigent students in Nigeria. The foundation also provides vocational training and small business grants/loans to aspiring entrepreneurs. Remi is an avid international real estate investor and developer, with projects in Europe, North America and Africa. Remi lives in New York with his wife Olabisi Oshikanlu and their four beautiful children.
