Linda Strait is a poet, an author, and a recovering people pleaser. For much of her life, she followed the path others set for her. In her late 30s, she began turning inward, listening for her own voice and seeking wisdom beyond what she had been taught. That journey of the spirit has spanned decades and carried her through some hard roads. Later in life, trusting where she was being led, she left Missouri, where she had spent most of her life, and stepped into the unknown in the foothills of upstate South Carolina. There she has created the life her soul had been asking for, one full of peace, deep friendships, and the freedom to be fully herself.
Linda calls herself a "deliverer of messages." Through her poems and writing, she shares the lessons that took her decades to learn, offering hope and comfort to anyone walking a similar path. Her books include “A Gift for Your Journey to Loving Yourself” and A Gift for your Journey: A Book about Loss and Greater Gain”.
She shares new poems and true stories on Substack at @kindacrone, honest pieces of her own healing, written in the hope they help others find theirs.
