Eve Cabanel

Eve Cabanel’s love of storytelling began with her French grandmother, who filled her childhood with imaginative tales. Years later, inspired by a drawing created by her niece and a dream about a moon elf, Eve wrote Eli and the Mystery of the Hallowshine Dragon for her young son.

Raised near the woods in the French countryside, Eve spent much of her childhood in tree houses, surrounded by animals and nature. Those memories continue to shape the enchanted worlds she creates.

Through her stories, Eve hopes to inspire children to face their fears, step beyond what feels comfortable, and discover their own courage. She now lives in Montreal with her family and two cats.
