I have worked, engaged, and interacted with the mentally ill on a regular basis for the last decade. It began during my time working in law enforcement, where I regularly had to engage with those in the middle of psychotic episodes. From there, my interest in the the workings of the human mind continued to grow. After achieving a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice, I continued on and obtained my M.A. in Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge Christian University in Montgomery, Alabama.
The goal with all my writing is to take subjects and attempt to think of them outside of the box or in ways that may not add up to the status quo, including the fields that I have personal experience in. Growing up the son of a Baptist minister, I have also grown a passion for the intersections of psychology and religion, and the psychology of religion.
