Scott Alcroft

Scott "John" Alcroft was born in Irvine Central in Ayrshire on the 25th of March 1978. He was brought up in a fishing town on the West coast of Scotland called "Saltcoats". Most of his inspiration for his books come from towns and characters he's met from a few villages in and around Ayrshire. Scott is very hopeful that one of his books can one day be picked up by TV, Film or a Theatre Company looking for something different. He has a cult following in Scotland and Ireland mostly but the word is spreading. Scott has lived in lots of Countries around the world including, Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar, Germany and Spain. He currently resides in Spain. Scott has worked in Countries such as Belize, Afghanistan & Saudi Arabia and is hoping to use these life experiences for future books. When Scott isn't writing, he can be found tanning beside a Swimming Pool or on a beach somewhere. He also likes to follow the adventures of his Football team, Celtic FC.
