I started writing in 2017 - after a serious illness. I found writing to be a wonderful form of distraction and very therapeutic...

After publishing three children's books I wanted to branch out and try something new, perhaps I should add a few murders to my stories! The Fortune Teller's Handbook was my first romantic crime thriller: the little book in question really does exist - it's from the Victorian era - yellowing pages, falling apart and its advice, at times, rather alarming. The book was discovered in a box of possessions once owned by my husband's long deceased great-aunts - I'm sure they would be delighted that I found it so useful!

'Revenge, Secrets and Lies' demonstrates what can happen to ordinary people when their lives are taken over by 'the neighbour from hell'. A gripping tale of romance, intrigue and enduring friendship. Delightful characters and more than a touch of dark humour...

AVAILABLE NOW: August 2021. 'Getting Away with Murder' - A missing person, a tragic accident and a brutal murder - who is responsible? Fascinating characters who fire the imagination and keep you entertained...

It's March 2022 - I'm living in the Scottish Borders with my husband and our little cat, Evie: we moved here to be near our family. What a delight! Our garden faces south with views of the Cheviot Hills and the River Tweed. This area, with small pretty towns, castles, wonderful countryside and genuinely friendly people is truly a hidden gem...

Much inspiration here for my next book - set in a village location, right here, in the Borders...

UPDATE! November 2022. Just published: 'Beatles, Babycham and Beehives.' Set in 1963: an exciting, easy to read story. Romance, dark humour and of course (as with all my books) a murder...

December 2023. 'BETRAYAL': another romantic crime thriller for my much appreciated readers to enjoy.

December 1st, 2024. Just published: 'The Mystery of Kestrel Bay.' A murder mystery with an unexpected twist!
