Originally from Westwood, New Jersey, Keneshia Gillespie was raised in Bennettsville, South Carolina by her Grandfather Tom E. Gillespie and the belated Mrs. Mary Simmons. Later she move to High Point, North Carolina with her mother Betty J. Johnson. Keneshia grew up real quick and love to read and write, she never knew that one day she was going to be an author.
