Eugene Gates

Eugene Gates is a writer and tech expert born in 1979 in Kansas, where he still lives to this day. He is the author of “Senior Guide to iPhone” and “Excel 2021” which have already earned bestseller status and continue to be enjoyed by all of his readers.

He has gone through every moment of the technological revolution of the modern age that brought computers, smartphones, and countless software into our lives that we now use every day but that 20 years ago belonged only to science fiction stories.

That has undoubtedly contributed to his unbridled passion for technology since he was a teenager dealing with his first computer. This passion led him to study and graduate in Computer Engineering, crowning the dream of when he was a boy.

Shortly after his graduation, he started working as a teacher in several schools, teaching computer science courses for beginners.

Thanks to his work, Eugene has helped dozens and dozens of people who found it difficult to use and understand technology, to become confident using programs at work or even just learning all the functions of their smartphones.

During the pandemic, realizing how many people were struggling using computer systems to stay in touch with loved ones or for work, Eugene decided to write step-by-step guides to make everyone understand technology so that it could no longer be seen as something that divides generations and people, but as something that unites them.
