Shelley Andrews-Hinders

Shelley Andrews-Hinders is a survivor. She has survived: being grabbed by a bear in Nova Scotia, being stung by an entire nest of yellow jackets in the woods near her home in southern Ohio, getting lost in a blizzard near the summit of Mt. Washburn in Yellowstone National Park, a 1,600-mile drive from Montana to Dayton in a 1957 Chevy Impala with bald tires and intermittent fires in the ashtray, an apartment fire in Nagoya Japan, escaping via rope ladder down 10 flights, among other close calls too numerous to mention, Oh, and she survived nearly 65 years living as a male, as one very unhappy male.

Shelley is a poet, singer, musician, artist, & freedom advocate. She is a dreamer, dreaming of a world where children are free to express themselves without fear of judgment or retribution.
