Edward Uechi

Over a 25-year professional career, Edward Y. Uechi has helped people in the United States and other countries to use information technology (IT) to their advantage. After establishing his expertise in the IT field at a high-technology international corporation in Silicon Valley, he has provided training and technical assistance to government agencies and private companies. He founded and led a non-profit organization and a social enterprise. Most recently, Edward has focused on workforce development where he manages government programs and analyzes employment data. He currently works at the U.S. Department of Labor. Edward earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
