Fred Heath

Fred Heath is a product-focused software engineer based in Cardiff, Wales, UK. Over the last 25 years he's worked at every stage of the software development life-cycle, using various platforms and computer languages. He's very experienced in agile delivery, technical leadership and product development and is a Professional Scrum Master (PSM II), a Professional Agile Leader (PAL I) and a Microsoft Certified professional (SQL Server).

As well as an avid reader of anything on quantum mechanics, software development and Iain M.Banks novels, Fred loves writing blog posts and speaking at conferences, having done so at several national and international software engineering conferences. Fred's first book, Managing Software Requirements the Agile Way, came out of a need to improve some of the entrenched practices in managing requirements in the agile world. His last two books focus on the Scrum framework, offering practical advice on how to pass certification exams and pragmatic guidance on everyday life as a Scrum Master.
