Jada Brown

Jada Brown is a southern-bred author and poet. Born in Laplace, Louisiana, and raised in the River Parishes of Louisiana, Jada has become a two-time best-selling author, known for her acclaimed debut book, 'Because Someone Forgot to Love You', and her compelling contribution as a student author in 'Dear Freedom Writer: Stories of Hardship and Hope from the Next Generation'. Jada has a certificate of art from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) and currently studies at Brigham Young University (BYU).

As a survivor of sexual abuse, Jada has made her mark writing the masterfully crafted literary work, 'Because Someone Forgot to Love You' at a young age. The then 17-year-old self-published author has found a blanket of healing in her words. Jada has turned pain into purpose, using her experiences and voice to inspire others. Multi-talented and driven she writes, edits, independently self-publishes, markets, and hand-illustrates each of her books.
