Jessica Thompson

Jessica Thompson is the author of the Amazon best-selling “Caterer’s Guide to Crime” cozy mystery series and “Shoot Shovel and Shut Up,” her award-winning classic mystery, with a new cozy mystery from her and J.R. Lancaster. Jessica has also curated several anthologies and contributed to many more. She runs virtual book tours under her alternate identity, Bittersweet Book Tours. She is active in her local writing community with the Messy Manuscript Society and volunteers as the Finance Chair for the Storymakers Guild.

Jessica lives in the suburbs of Austin, Texas with her husband and two children. When not writing or marketing, she’s getting her hands dirty in the kitchen or her boots dirty gardening or working at her parents' nearby Longhorn cattle ranch.
