Mai Ling Chan

Mai Ling Chan MS, CCC-SLP, is a mother, successful entrepreneur, speech-language pathologist, tech enthusiast, speaker, podcast host, and author. Originally from the small fishing town of Keyport, New Jersey, Mai Ling’s cross-country move with two young children brought challenges that exposed her weaknesses, tested her resolve, and inspired a journey of lifelong growth.

Building on these hard-earned lessons, Mai Ling channels her deep curiosity and genuine interest in hearing other people’s stories into her internationally recognized anthologies, sharing her passion for human connection with readers worldwide.

As an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association-accredited speech-language pathologist for over 19 years, she has provided comprehensive speech-language services to individuals and families affected by communication disabilities and is committed to advocacy and service in this community. Driven by her passion for technology, she actively raises awareness about both the risks and opportunities of AI from a disability perspective and a clinical standpoint.
