Angela S. Jones

Angela Swanson Jones has spent a lifetime immersed in the world of fine art. The daughter of prominent art historian Vern G. Swanson, she grew up exploring museums, archives, galleries, and auction houses across the globe.

She holds a degree from Brigham Young University and earned her M.A. from the prestigious Courtauld Institute of Art in London. During her training, Angela gained work experience at both Sotheby’s in New York and Christie’s in London, and she currently serves as the Exhibition Director for the Art Renewal Center’s (ARC) International Salon, championing contemporary realism worldwide.

Angela’s articles have been featured in Fine Art Connoisseur, and she is the co-author of several books, including Desperately Young: Artists Who Died in Their Twenties, Dictionary of Utah Fine Artists, and John Hafen: Utah's Poet Painter. Currently, she is authoring the definitive biography and catalogue raisonné on German painter Heinrich Hofmann (1824–1911).

Following a decade in the UK, she now lives in Fairview, Texas, with her husband, Jason, and their three children.
