Joel Thomas Chopp

Joel Thomas Chopp (PhD, University of Toronto, Wycliffe College) is Assistant Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Asbury Theological Seminary. Before coming to Asbury Seminary, Dr. Chopp served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Theology at Wheaton College. From 2016–2022, he was the Project and Communications Manager for The Creation Project, a five-program initiative funded by the John Templeton Foundation on the doctrine of creation and modern science. He currently serves as managing editor of Pro Ecclesia, a quarterly journal of theology published by the Center for Catholic and Evangelical Theology.
