Bethany Brevard is an award-winning Christian children’s author and creator of *The Mouse in the Hammock*, a faith-filled children’s book series that helps families celebrate the holidays with sweetness, Scripture, and meaningful traditions.

The series began with *The Mouse in the Hammock, a Christmas Tale*, an award-winning bedtime story inspired by a childhood Christmas ornament from the 1970s. That tiny ornament became the heart of a story about small acts of kindness, quiet generosity, and the way little things, and little people, can make a BIG difference.

What started as one Christmas story has grown into a six-book holiday collection, each told through the eyes of a little mouse and gently rooted in Christian truth. The books invite children to see God’s love in everyday moments and to understand big faith messages in a tender, age-appropriate way.

A portion of proceeds helps support an orphanage in Haiti, and the beloved felt mice connected to the books are handmade in Nepal through a fair-trade factory. Through the stories, the mission, and the handmade mice, children can see that little things really can make a BIG difference.

Bethany’s newest book, *The Little Jesus Mission*, continues her heart for faith-filled children’s stories by inviting children to hide, seek, and share Jesus through a simple activity inspired by Matthew 7:7, “Seek, and you will find.”
