Marisa Lemma

Marisa’s interest in politics became a lifelong passion in January 2017 after she attended the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. She was inspired by the gathering of people making their voices heard in a time of growing political unrest. Marisa’s passion became her path in life after graduating with a government degree from William & Mary.

Marisa believes young women play a particularly important role in crafting policies that would benefit the younger generations. Marisa is an active citizen in our political system, is nearly fluent in Italian, and enjoys expanding her knowledge of other languages when given the chance.
