Learn more at www.davidduncanbooks.com. David Duncan was born in Southern California as an only child and was raised in Washington State by his mother Peggy. Growing up he was always happiest when playing sports. By age 16, he was playing high level tennis and teaching it at several private tennis clubs. After college in Florida, David settled into working as a sales person for a technology company. In 2015 while shopping for a tennis racket for his oldest daughter, he spotted a row of pickleball paddles and started playing the sport immediately thereafter. His skills quickly propelled him to playing professionally. He then partnered with two other pickleball pros, and now they teach pickleball camps and clinics around the world.
In 2016 while trying to fall asleep one night, David was overwhelmed by a rush of words flowing into his head. Unable to silence them, he sprang to his computer and started typing what would be his first children’s story. Over the next several years the same thing would randomly happen. He has several stories now, and finally decided it was time to publish. When David Duncan isn’t writing or working at his other professions, he is spending time with his family of all girls (yes, even the dog)! His two daughters keep him young at heart and in mind due to all the laughter and adventures they share together, and his wife keeps him grounded.
