Matt Jones

Since 2000, MATT JONES has mentored thousands of teenagers as a middle and high school teacher. Previous to his work as an educator, he was a founding member of a Los Angeles theater company, a lead singer in a rock band, and the owner of a party rentals company on the island of Oahu. During this time, he also worked in many restaurants to make ends meet. He owns a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts, a Masters Degree in Multicultural and Social Justice Education, and several Teaching Credentials. He currently teaches at a public high school in rural Central California, where he lives with his wife Laurie. Together they have two children and were for a short period co-hosts of the Teacher Saves World! podcast.
