The author has published various literary works, including novels, short stories, and poetry, in Arabic and English. He won the second prize of an important Egyptian Arabic literary competition "Dar Al-Odaba'a- Writers’ House". The author has also obtained the third prize of the Madeline Lamont Literary Competition organized by the American University in Cairo for two of his short stories (in Arabic). He has published some short stories in well-established Egyptian literary magazines such as "Al-Hilal" and "Nadi Al-Qasa". His literary works were discussed at different events.
Other than his literary works, the author has also written extensively in history and in his academic field of specialization that combines economics, political science, and sociology. He has obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany) in 2013. He has published a book in Arabic about the global ideological confrontation of the 20th Century, and in English, a book entitled the "Development of Socialism, Social Democracy and Communism". Besides, he has published many papers at various academic peer-reviewed journals.
