Emma Porter

Emma Porter is a young adult, LGBTQ+ Canadian currently residing in Winnipeg Manitoba. Her inspiration comes from dreams, her motivation from her (somewhat) unhealthy relationship with Earl Grey tea, and her keyboard is riddled with feline paw prints. Her first novel, The Fairy King, has been featured in several local publications: including The Winnipeg Free Press and Global News. Last year (2019) she was an honored guest at the International Miami Book Fair which gave her the priceless opportunity of reaching out to readers through a book signing and connecting with all manner of individuals in the industry.

At present, Emma studies Rhetoric and English, with a heavy focus on creative writing, at The University Of Winnipeg in hopes of someday sharing her accumulated passion and knowledge of writing with the next generation.
