Gini Crawford MSW

About the author

Gini Crawford (1954- ) has been a Christian since 1971. She told God decades ago, "I won't teach." She also told God, "I can't write. No one will want to read what I have to say, anyway." Needless to say, God got His way even without a fish having to shallow her. She has had the privilege of teaching and writing women's devotions and studies through church ministries and in the community for the last 40 years or so.

In 2007, Gini launched Because of God Ministries, a website offering many free studies and devotions for both women and men, which can be easily accessed and copied. Links to her books are on her website too. Different organizations are using her teachings from Because of God Ministries. A ministry in India, New Hope India Ministries, translates her devotions into the language of the area for use in their women's ministries. She has also written some studies for Christian agencies that can be downloaded and copied free.

Gini received her Master’s in Social Work - Counseling in 2004. Her area of expertise was sexual assault counseling. She stays active in her career field as a Board member of an adoption agency and volunteering in the community for various things.

Gini has managed a number of political campaigns in Southern Arizona. Because of running political campaigns, Gini took some time off writing for Because of God Ministries. Since God has literally cleared her schedule, she is back writing now.

Gini and her husband, Tom, have been married 50 years. They have 3 adult children, all married, and 8 terrific grandchildren. Gini's hobbies are - walking (and talking to God), tennis, bicycling and swimming (to burn those calories), and watching grandkids.
