Evelyn Tan

Evelyn is a quality engineering professional who aspires to become an influencer in the industry through her books after serving 3 decades in multiple industries which include consumer electronics goods, food, industrial and aerospace products. She had lead over 100 transformation projects deploying her own systematic proactive approach and established methods such as lean and six sigma which yield sustainable results for the organization she served. She will share her proactive systematic approach in managing supplier and their manufacturing process in her books. The systematic proactive approach is simple to understand and deploy through her illustration in the book.

She had spent a major part of her career as a supplier quality manager working with hundreds of suppliers across the globe to ensure effective delivery of consistently good quality parts applying a data-driven systematic approach. Her first book “Seven Essentials of Supplier Quality Management A Concise Guide” aims to help the organization to overcome pain point caused by supplier incoming material quality problem. In her second book, "360 Quality Engineering Towards Zero Defect Product in Manufacturing Process" she had focus more on how to set up and control manufacturing process inputs to reduce risk of quality issues for the manufacturing industries.
