Emily Riffe

Emily received her Master’s degree in Health Education and Promotion from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Prior to homeschooling, Emily worked as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist.

Alongside homeschooling, she volunteers in Girl Leadership for a local American Heritage Girls Troop. Every Friday you will find her in mud boots out on a nature trail with her dear friend Deven co-leading a Nature Study Homeschool Co-op.

Emily's educational philosophy has been rooted in Charlotte Mason. She continues to study deeply and learn more of these methods each season. Other areas of interest include: Christian martyrs, technology and society, apologetics, and butterfly gardens. Her favorite book is The Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis. Her favorite wildflower is the Indian paintbrush.

Emily and her husband Darren live in North Texas with their three children.
