Janelle Soong

Janelle Soong was born in Malaysia and emigrated to England at the age of ten on a full music scholarship. She is a registered pharmacist in the UK, having graduated from King’s College London in 2020 with First Class Honours in Pharmacy (MPharm). Janelle is currently on a Patient Safety Fellowship program at Roche UK.

Let Sleeping Pharmacists Lie is her first book, inspired by her personal encounters as a Pharmacy student. She also draws on her experience within retail and hospital pharmacy, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Outside work, Janelle can usually be found enjoying a Tchaikovsky symphony with a cup of tea, whilst planning her next baking project – usually involving chocolate in some shape or form.
