Sandra Capwell

I have wanted to become a writer since my teenage years. When our world was turned upside down with the onset of Covid I found myself being overcome with grief. I decided I needed to channel my emotions into something pleasant and satisfying. My writing career was born.

My first two books were written for children. They focused on one of my favorites. Cats. The Adventures of Mister Boots and Catnip Hollow brought me such joy. I hoped any child would love the characters I wrote about. Of course they were inspired by my own dear pets. I tried to include lessons learned within both stories.

Time went on and I decided to try my hand at adult books. I have written eight books so far. My eleventh is in the works. I think it might be my best yet.

I love mysteries. Especially with twists that surprise the readers.

I was born in the 1940's. My parents were not wealthy but they always provided a home for me. Growing up as a single child, I found books always managed to carry me away when loneliness arrived.

Now in my late 70's my writing has given me a feeling of accomplishment. I enjoy the comments I receive from family and friends.

I hope my books bring the reader as much fun as I have gotten from writing them.
