Alberto Delgado

Dr. Alberto M. Delgado is a distinguished Christian leader and pastor, best known for his role as the founder and senior pastor of Alpha & Omega Church, a Christian church in Miami, Florida, where he has served for over 35 years. This congregation of 5,000 members welcomes people from various nationalities. Delgado was born in Havana, Cuba, and was part of the mass exodus known as Operation Pedro Pan. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict and also has a passion for singing and music.

Delgado is a graduate of the RHEMA Bible Training Center, part of Kenneth Hagin Ministries, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from which he graduated in 1979 and was ordained as a minister under their coverage in 1988.

During the 1980s, he spent six years in full-time missionary work in Quetzaltenango and San Marcos in Guatemala, Tecomán in Mexico, as well as in the Dominican Republic and Belize.

In 1985, Alpha & Omega Church was founded and has been strengthened under his leadership to this day. His ministry has now expanded beyond the United States, founding and providing spiritual guidance to churches in Guatemala, Argentina, Nicaragua, Cuba, and Venezuela.
