N.R. LaPoint is a lover of pulp stories filled with aspirational heroes, bizarre worlds, and terrible creatures. He is the author of Lightsinger, Gun Magus, Death Planet, and the Raven Mistcreek series (Chalk, Dusklight, Archangel, and the forthcoming Hellgate).

He lives deep within the Great Wisconsin Wilderness with his family, numerous musical instruments, many board games, and a large personal library.
