Tara Lynn (Darr) Baisden began her career as an author and designer in the world of quilting and enjoyed her 20 years in that industry. She authored 6 books, 2 of which were self-published and all are now out of print. She also designed many quilts for magazine publication - all of which can be found in past issues of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine and also Primitive Quilts & Projects magazine.
Through many twists and turns, lifes ups and downs, and just plain living - she found herself living her dream in the glorious mountains of West Virginia. Here the course of her life met a fork in the road and she began dabbling with the magic of words again. Quilting will always be a passion in her life but she has found a new joy and focus, creating fiction.
Currently, she is working on several different novels, a few short stories, and creative pieces while forging a new path in her life. She lives in a log cabin, on a mountaintop with a 360-degree view of the beauty that surrounds and inspires her. A day in her life involves her faithful pets, her pursuit of living a happy & full life with faithful friends & family, mountain hiking & four-wheeling adventures, gardening, swinging on her front porch swing with a good cup of coffee and pounding out words on her laptop or penning these words longhand.
Will she become a published author of her fiction works - time will tell of course - but with her faith, perseverance and passion - anything is possible in this big old world!
